About Me

My photo
Graeme Scrivener
18-years in Investment Banking, living and working in London, New York, Sydney and Delhi, has allowed me to undertake some incredible journeys, not least of which have been my efforts to cycle the longest way across the six rideable continents of Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America and Australia. Europe and Asia took me 15,000km in 6-month from Paris to Beijing through France, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and China. Africa was another 5-months and 12,000km across Africa, Cairo to Cape Town, through Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa. North America took me 8,000km and all the way across Canada at its widest point over 10-weeks. The Australian ride took me 4,000km from Perth to Sydney in 2011. My final ride will be a South American epic from Cartagena to Ushuaia with dates and routes still to be determined. For more details on my cycles see my cycle specific blog: www.transcontinentalcycles.com - safe travel, Graeme
